Speed and accuracy both matter: as levels progress, ghosts arrive faster and in greater numbers, raising the challenge on both fronts.

At the end of a stage — and certainly at the final one — a boss ghost appears. Beating a boss requires drawing a long chain of symbols or landing repeated spells rather than a single stroke. The overall goal is to survive all five levels, defeat every ghost and boss, and save the ocean.
