About Syntagma: Puzzle Adventure with Platformer Elements

Syntagma is a puzzle adventure with platformer elements built around a quest to unlock the secrets of five abandoned temples. The story begins when a mysterious package arrives containing an artifact resembling a compass and an ancient map pointing toward five enigmatic locations. To activate the compass and reveal what the temples hold, the hero must collect five unique crystals, each symbolizing one of the five elements, scattered across the world.

One scene shows five large rusted spheres covered in sharp metal spikes standing on a tiled stone floor, with glowing orange lava visible in the background. Another moment places the hero on a tiled path crossing a central pool of water, framed by tall sandstone-colored columns. A third scene presents five large circular saw blades with serrated edges and rust patches arranged in a row across a grid floor.

How to Play Syntagma

Each crystal is locked inside a vault that opens only when the hero steps on active platforms in the correct sequence and collects every key found on those platforms. Movement across the platforms follows strict rules: going backward or diagonally is not allowed, and the hero may only move forward, left, or right. The moment movement begins, defense mechanisms and obstacles activate and deal damage.

Traps can be avoided in several ways: jumping over them while moving toward them, or triggering a spot jump at the right moment using one of the dedicated inputs described in Controls. Two difficulty levels are available and can be changed in the main menu settings. After completing Level 0, the game automatically suggests trying Level 1.
